October 20th-22nd : Defymed at the International Pancreas and Islet Transplantation Association (IPITA) conference
Elisa Maillard will attend on behalf of the Defymed Team at ‘The International Pancreas and Islet Transplantation Association (IPITA)’ conference (from October the 20th to the 22nd). This congress serves the pancreas and islet transplant scientific community in providing state of advancement of the major teams working in the field for the treatment of human diabetes. The aim of this 18th edition is to promote research and training regarding the insulin secreting tissue, to promote exchange between experts from different institutions and share experiences.
This will be the opportunity for us to evaluate evolution on cell encapsulation in order to well known the environment of MailPan® cell-encapsulation device in the diabetes field.
